Kid’s ShoesKid’s shoes come in almost as many varieties as adults shoes with some very practical exceptions. A lot of women’s styles would not be appropriate for children, given the painful designs and all. It is pretty important to take good care of your child’s feet, especially if you are a parent. The foot is obviously not as important as the neck but shoes are more important than ties. Go figure! The range of footwear available for kids is as diverse as it is colourful. Some children’s feet are smaller than the average adult foot.There is a very strong movement throughout society calling for children to be called little people. I wonder how dwarves feel about that! Kid’s shoes should be comfortable and where possible, should not cause any permanent damage, either physically or emotionally to the child. In the United States of America children are not allowed to wear shoes after four o’clock in the afternoon. This is to prevent people from stealing their footwear and throwing it over power lines. My mother always chose my shoes for me. She would, invariably, buy footwear that I detested. They wouldn’t have the right amount of stripes on the side or contain a pocket of air to make me faster. Kid’s shoes should make the wearer feel invincible like a superhero with his underpants over his slacks. My message to you is short and succinct...let your children choose their own shoes. What the hell are you afraid of? Your child isn’t a doll for you to dress and parade in front of your friends like a cheap trinket. |
